About 4 years ago I felt stuck, stagnant, unfulfilled and unhappy in my personal and professional life. I graduated college, found myself content at my job but not satisfied, feeling stressed about life and lost with no clear direction on how to move forward.
On the outside it looked like I had it all together. I mean I graduated college, I had my own car and apartment, I obtained a job within my field of study, I did everything that was expected of me, but I still found myself stuck and unhappy. I was so disappointed and upset about my current situation that I began isolating myself from family and friends. I also found myself upset with GOD. I questioned him and I was confused as to why this was happening to ME. Feeling as though these were the cards that life had dealt me, I continued my normal routine (go to work, go home, pay the bills and repeat). I was literally existing in life and not living life (I’ll save this topic for another blog).
Then one evening after watching back to back episodes of Aunty Oprah and Iyanla Vanzant Fix My Life. I had an AHA moment. I realized that for me to figure out what I wanted in life. I would need to work on my mindset first. That’s when I started my journey towards personal development.
I read a few personal development books (which I will share at the end of this blog post), listened to podcast, following inspirational people on social media and started practicing what I’d learned.
It was ton of work and I would be lying if I told you this shit was easy because it wasn’t. In hindsight it would’ve been easier to stay stuck and a lot of people do just that. But I knew that nothing worth going after in life is every going to be easy.

I invested in myself and I’m so glad I did because it has honestly changed my life. My life is so different now. I’m happy in my personal and professional life and I’m running a successful business where I get to help women:

2)Gain clarity about what they want and don’t want for their life
3)Push past fear, limiting beliefs and procrastination
4)Discover their purpose
5)Hold them accountable
So, I want you to know that it’s never too late to change your life! It’s possible to become that version of you that you’ve always wanted to be. It’s possible to overcome what’s holding you back.
But it all starts with having the right mindset, setting goals and creating an action plan to get there.
